Role Overview:-
The Store Manager will be the face of Tradeuno at the retail front. This role is responsible for
ensuring store excellence, building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and
managing a high-performing team. The Store Manager acts as the bridge between customers and management, ensuring the store is not just a point of sale but a hub of customer experience, education, and brand building.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations & Upkeep
• Ensure daily upkeep, cleanliness, and visual merchandising of the store to deliver a premium customer experience.
• Enforce SOPs for stock display, billing, and customer handling.
• Track stock levels, ensure proper inventory rotation, and coordinate with management for
timely replenishments.
Qualifications:
• Graduate in Retail / Fashion Management / Business Administration (preferred).
• 4–6 years of experience in retail sales, fashion, or customer-facing roles.
• Prior experience as an assistant store manager or store lead is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and customer engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and networking abilities.
• Deep interest in fashion, fabrics, and customer styling.
• Ability to train and motivate teams for performance-driven culture.
• Knowledge of basic retail operations, billing, and stock management.
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Sheets for reporting.
Customer Relationship & Sales Growth:-
• Personally interact with every customer visiting the store, understand their requirements,
and ensure they leave with the right solution.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through follow-ups, references, and
personalized service.
• Suggest new product additions and assortments to management based on customer feedback and emerging trends.
• Actively push sales strategies, including cross-selling, upselling, and value-add services
(e.g., stitching, design consulting).
Team Leadership & Training :-
• Manage and mentor a team of sales staff, ensuring they understand fabrics, fashion
applications, and customer pitching techniques.
• Conduct regular training sessions on fabric knowledge, customer handling, and use of
product photos/made-up garment visuals for effective pitching.
Customer Acquisition & Networking:-
• Invite new customers by reaching out to designers, boutiques, and brands; set up meetings
and store visits.
• Attend trade fairs, fashion events, and exhibitions on behalf of the brand to generate
visibility and partnerships.
• Build a local ecosystem of repeat customers, influencers, and fashion professionals who can
drive referrals.
Reporting & Compliance:-
• Share daily, weekly, and monthly sales and customer reports with management.
• Maintain compliance with billing, invoicing, returns, and customer satisfaction protocols.
• Address and resolve store-level issues quickly and effectively.
