We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory, stock levels, and ensure the smooth operation of our grocery store. The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving goods, maintaining organized storage, managing stock rotation, and reporting inventory levels.
Receive and inspect all incoming stock for quantity and quality.
Ensure proper documentation of goods received and issued.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels using manual or electronic systems.
Organize and maintain store shelves and stockrooms efficiently.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method for perishable goods.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired products.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely restocking.
Handle inventory audits and stock reconciliations periodically.
Keep the storage area clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety standards.
Assist in packing, pricing, and labeling items for display or delivery.
Support cashier and floor staff during peak hours or special promotions.
Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management promptly.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory/storekeeping, preferably in a grocery or retail setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic math and record-keeping skills.
Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., MS Excel, POS systems).
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items when needed.
Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
May require standing for long periods.
Occasional lifting of heavy items (up to 25kg).
Working on weekends and holidays as per store schedule.
