Job Summary: The Counter Sales Executive at TBZ will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. This role requires a passionate, customer-focused individual with a strong understanding of jewelry and sales techniques. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience, guiding customers through their purchase journey, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales:
Warmly greet and welcome customers entering the showroom.
Understand customer needs, preferences, and occasions to recommend suitable jewelry pieces (gold, diamond, precious stones, etc.).
Provide detailed and accurate information about products, including pricing, materials (carat, purity, cut, clarity, color), craftsmanship, features, and care instructions.
Effectively demonstrate jewelry pieces, highlighting their unique attributes and value.
Utilize up-selling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Achieve individual and team sales targets consistently.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, handling cash, credit card payments, and managing refunds as per company policy.
Maintain customer data for future reference and follow-up.
Product Knowledge & Merchandising:
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of TBZ's product catalog, new arrivals, and ongoing promotions.
Stay updated on the latest jewelry trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
Ensure proper and aesthetically appealing display of stock on counters and in showcases.
Assist with maintaining the showroom's visual appeal, cleanliness, and organization.
Assist in regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records, reporting discrepancies to management.
Customer Service & Relationship Building:
Provide professional and high-quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
Follow up with customers for feedback and potential future sales opportunities.
Operational Excellence:
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including security protocols for high-value merchandise.
Report any issues, accidents, or complaints to showroom management.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy workplace.
Assist with opening and closing procedures of the showroom as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Proven work experience (minimum 1-3 years) in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
Genuine interest in jewelry, fashion, and an understanding of precious metals and gemstones.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools and retail software/POS systems.
