The Assistant Store Incharge supports the Store Incharge in overseeing the daily operations of the store. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining store hygiene and safety, and achieving sales targets. The role requires organizational skills, leadership qualities, and a customer-focused attitude.
Assist the Store Incharge in day-to-day store operations.
Supervise and coordinate activities of store staff (salespersons, cashiers, stockers, etc.).
Ensure shelves are stocked and displays are visually appealing.
Monitor inventory levels; assist in stock receipt, verification, and storage.
Maintain records of stock movement and report discrepancies.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
Ensure the store is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Help manage billing, cash handling, and POS system operations.
Support in training and onboarding of new staff.
Help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Open and close the store as per assigned shifts.
Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams as required.
