Job Responsibilities:
1)
Store Operational
•
Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
•
Responsible for day-to-day performance and operations on the store floor.
•
Take a floor walk to ensure that display is arranged in appropriate way.
•
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
•
Handle store administration and supervise compliance with policies, procedures and SOP.
•
Check store compliance with health and safety regulations.
•
Coordinate with housekeeping and security staff for the same.
•
Identify and analyze the sales and set the daily/monthly target accordingly.
•
Set staff's schedules and breaks in shift.
•
Responsible to do ad-hoc work as and when needed.
•
Handle and maintain petty cash register and coordinate with accounts team regarding the same.
2)
Stock maintenance/Inventory Management
•
Check the stock received in the store according to the raised invoice.
•
Monitor inventory level and order new items accordingly. Follow up with the superior regarding same.
•
Update stock data in WinBDS system.
•
Identify non selling books and arrange display for the same.
•
Manage stock to maximize sales potential.
3)
Sales
•
Propose innovative ideas to increase sales in consideration with cluster manager.
•
Split and allocate the sales target within the store staff.
•
Identify and analyze sales on daily basis. Generate sales report on weekly basis.
•
To check monthly sales target are achieved.
4)
People management
•
Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
•
Conduct coaching and mentoring meeting on weekly basis to ensure performance objectives are met.
•
Arrange activities based on team building and motivation for staff.
•
Ensure high level of employee relationship, motivation engagement to drive results.
•
Monitor, review, evaluate and ensure all KPIs of the staff are met on on-going basis.
5)
Events & Promotions
•
Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
•
Ensure implementation of promotional plans and suggesting new and innovating promotion plan for the area of work.
•
Follow up with marketing and B&M team regarding events and promotions.
6)
Customer Service
•
Monitor daily operations at the store including customer experience, escalations, and people related responsibilities.
•
Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
•
Give training to the staff regarding customer service. To prioritise customer retention to avoid customer churn.
•
Ensure appropriate services is provided to the customers.
•
Maintain an excellent level of customer service. Handle and resolve customer complaints.
Key Skills Required:
•
4-6 Yrs. work experience as an Asst. Store Manager or Store Manager in Retail/FMCG industry.
•
Computer literacy
•
Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
•
Any Graduate
