Job Description:
1. Strategic HR Leadership
Partner with plant leadership to understand business goals and align HR strategies accordingly.
Drive workforce planning and talent management initiatives.
Implement HR policies and practices tailored to the manufacturing environment.
2. Talent Acquisition & Management
Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
Oversee onboarding and training programs tailored to shop-floor and plant employees.
Support succession planning and internal promotions.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Maintain strong employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
Organize employee engagement programs and communication forums.
Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and action planning.
4. Compliance & Labor Law
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor and statutory laws (Factories Act, ESI, PF, etc.).
Liaise with labor unions where applicable and participate in negotiations.
Handle audits from labor departments and external agencies.
5. Performance & Compensation Management
Drive annual performance appraisal process.
Work with finance and leadership to manage payroll, increment, and incentive planning.
Benchmark compensation for factory and corporate roles.
6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Collaborate with the HSE team to ensure workplace safety and health compliance.
Conduct safety awareness programs and maintain incident reporting records.
7. HR Operations & Systems
Oversee HRMS operations including attendance, leave, and payroll.
Generate and analyze HR dashboards and MIS reports for decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a recognized institution.
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a core manufacturing setup.
Deep understanding of labor laws, industrial relations, and union handling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS platforms.
Experience in driving change management and process improvements.
