Payroll Executive JD –
Key Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
Collect, verify, and maintain employee attendance, leaves, and timesheet data.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other labor laws.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
Handle salary structure preparation, revisions, increments, and full & final settlements.
Address payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely resolutions.
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee data, reimbursements, and payroll inputs.
Maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation for audits.
Generate payslips, salary registers, variance reports, and reconciliation statements.
Support year-end activities such as Form 16 issuance and tax computation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in payroll processing (industry-specific experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, statutory compliance, and Excel.
Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Keka, GreytHR, Zoho People, etc.).
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and confidentiality.
Good communication and coordination skills.
