The Payroll & HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR functions including attendance, leave management, recruitment coordination, and employee engagement. The role requires strong knowledge of HR compliances, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Validate attendance, leaves, overtime, and other inputs for salary calculation.
Maintain and update payroll records, salary registers, and employee master data.
Generate payslips, salary statements, and related reports.
Handle full & final settlement of exiting employees.
Coordinate with finance for timely salary disbursement.
Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, and Income Tax (TDS) regulations.
File monthly/quarterly returns and generate challans for statutory payments.
Maintain compliance-related documentation for audits.
Update statutory changes and implement them in payroll processing.
Maintain employee records (digital & physical) including personal data, joining, and exit formalities.
Manage attendance system and leave records.
Support recruitment process by coordinating interviews and onboarding.
Draft HR letters: appointment, confirmation, increment, warning, etc.
Assist in employee engagement and grievance handling.
Coordinate with management on HR policies and procedures.
