We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship will provide a comprehensive exposure to core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and documentation. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to understand the internal functioning of an HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing candidates through various job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, and internal databases.
Screen resumes based on job requirements and coordinate telephonic or face-to-face interviews.
Schedule interviews with hiring managers and follow up with candidates regarding their application status.
Maintain and update recruitment trackers and reports.
Support in conducting reference checks and preparing offer letters.
Coordinate the entire onboarding process including documentation, ID creation, seating arrangements, and system access.
Assist in planning and delivering employee inductions for new joiners.
Ensure all onboarding documents are collected, verified, and filed appropriately.
Provide a smooth onboarding experience to new employees by addressing their queries and guiding them through company policies and procedures.
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS or internal systems.
Assist in preparing HR letters such as experience letters, confirmation letters, and other employee-related documents.
Support in attendance management, leave tracking, and monthly HR reports.
Help in maintaining employee files, records, and HR documentation as per company standards.
Assist in planning and organizing employee engagement activities such as celebrations, team-building events, and wellness programs.
Coordinate internal communication for events, announcements, and HR initiatives.
Gather employee feedback and contribute ideas to enhance workplace culture.
Support in maintaining compliance-related files and statutory documentation.
Help in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed.
Assist in audits by providing necessary HR data and records.
Handle basic HR-related queries from employees.
Work closely with the HR team on special projects or initiatives.
Provide administrative support in day-to-day HR functions.
Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong interest in building a career in HR.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of basic HR concepts and practices.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask, take initiative, and manage time efficiently.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Hands-on exposure to different HR verticals including recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance.
