Job Title : HR Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Assistant to support and strengthen the HR function at our plant in Hathras. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing core HR operations, ensuring statutory compliance, driving employee engagement, and supporting recruitment and performance processes. Prior experience in handling plant HR in a manufacturing or chemical industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end HR operations for the plant including recruitment, onboarding, attendance & payroll coordination, and exit formalities.

• Maintain compliance with all labour laws, PF/ESIC, Factories Act, and other statutory regulations.

• Handle contract labour management, liaise with contractors, and maintain relevant documentation.

• Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs, and code of conduct at the plant level.

• Coordinate and maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRMIS reports.

• Monitor employee engagement initiatives, grievance redressal, and team-building activities.

• Support performance management, including goal-setting, appraisals, and feedback sessions.

• Liaise with government bodies for inspections, audits, and licensing requirements.

• Promote a safe work environment by working closely with EHS and operations teams.

• Coordinate with corporate HR team for organizational-level HR initiatives and reporting.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of HR experience in a plant.

• Sound knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR practices in a factory setting.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
