Key Responsibilities
1. Workforce Management
Supervise and manage manpower deployed across various plant operations.
Ensure adequate manpower availability for all shifts and departments.
Coordinate with contractors/HR for recruitment, deployment, and replacements.
Monitor absenteeism and take corrective measures to reduce workforce gaps.
2. Attendance & Documentation
Maintain attendance records of apprentices, trainees, and workers.
Verify shift rosters, overtime, and leave records.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly manpower reports to management.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory documentation.
3. Coordination & Support
Liaise with plant supervisors, production heads, and HR for manpower allocation.
Assist in onboarding, joining formalities, and contract compliance for workforce.
Support in audits, inspections, and statutory compliance checks.
4. Performance Monitoring
Track productivity levels and highlight issues affecting efficiency.
Provide feedback to contractors and HR for workforce improvements.
Recommend training or skill development needs for workers.
