Key Responsibilities:
Human Resource Management:
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning tailored to logistics and construction roles.
Implement HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures in line with labor laws.
Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
Maintain and update employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave policies.
Conduct performance evaluations and coordinate training & development programs.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements.
Monitor site and warehouse safety policies to ensure adherence to government safety norms.
Coordinate safety drills, PPE distribution, and regular toolbox talks.
Liaise with site supervisors and logistics managers to assess workforce risk and health standards.
Maintain incident reports, audits, and inspection records.
Industry-Specific Coordination:
Work closely with project managers and transport heads to understand manpower needs.
Ensure labor deployment and shift scheduling align with site and transport operations.
Support vendor compliance, contractor verification, and labor license renewals.
Help standardize HR processes across construction sites, warehouses, and offices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in logistics, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
Knowledge of labor law compliance, occupational safety standards, and employee welfare schemes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and site-based environment.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Industrial Safety or HR Compliance (preferred).
Familiarity with ERP/TMS/HRMS software systems.
Working knowledge of Hindi or regional languages (especially for dealing with labor).
Crisis management and first-response training experience is a plus.
