Job Summary:

We are seeking a courteous, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to be the face of our hotel. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling check-in and check-out processes, and providing a memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude

• Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately

• Manage room reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms

• Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities

• Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly

• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness and guest needs

• Maintain accurate guest records and payments using hotel management software (e.g., IDS, Opera, or PMS)

• Process transactions (cash, credit card, etc.) and prepare bills

• Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner

• Promote hotel services, upgrades, and special offers

• Liaise with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in the hospitality industry preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS) is a plus

• Fluency in English and local languages; knowledge of other languages is a bonus

• Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and confident

• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

• High school diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field
