Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. In this role, you will greet guests, manage incoming calls, handle inquiries, and perform administrative tasks to support daily office operations. Your presence sets the tone for client and visitor experiences, making customer service and communication skills essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Schedule appointments and manage meeting room calendars
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
Handle basic inquiries and direct more complex questions to the appropriate departments
Monitor visitor logbooks and issue visitor badges as needed
Maintain office security by following procedures and controlling access
Support other departments with ad-hoc duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher is a plus
Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional attitude and appearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Customer service attitude
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
