Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of professional experience in designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, system design, and project coordination is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop plumbing systems including piping layouts, water supply, drainage, and waste systems for various projects.

Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD or other design software.

Estimate material quantities and costs for project proposals and budgeting.

Conduct site inspections and supervise installation work to ensure compliance with design and code standards.

Perform troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.

Ensure that all plumbing works meet local and national codes, as well as company standards.

Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, mechanical and civil engineers, and contractors.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source appropriate plumbing materials and equipment.

Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3 to 6+ / 8 years of professional experience in plumbing design, installation, and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, venting, and sanitary systems.

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (such as IPC, UPC, IS codes).

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office tools.

Good understanding of hydraulic calculations, material selection, and system sizing.

Strong project management and coordination skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
