Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or the need for repairs.
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems.
Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, and other professionals.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure.
Handle emergency repairs efficiently and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and local plumbing codes.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
Proven experience as a plumber (minimum [X] years preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship a plus.
Valid plumbing license or certification ([state-specific requirements]).
Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential and commercial buildings.
