Job Summary:
The Pantry Boy assists in maintaining the pantry and kitchen area, ensuring cleanliness, stocking, and timely service of refreshments to staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other beverages.
Keep the pantry area clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
Ensure availability of supplies like cups, plates, napkins, and refreshments.
Wash and clean utensils, cups, and kitchen equipment.
Assist with minor food preparation as directed.
Support catering or kitchen staff during events or meetings.
Handle pantry-related errands as needed.
Follow hygiene and safety standards strictly.
Start the day by cleaning the pantry area and arranging supplies.
Prepare tea, coffee, and water for morning staff refreshment.
Restock pantry items like snacks, beverages, cups, and cutlery.
Maintain cleanliness by washing used cups, plates, and utensils regularly.
Assist during meetings or events by serving refreshments.
Check pantry inventory and report shortages to supervisor.
Dispose of waste and keep the pantry hygienic.
End the day by cleaning and securing the pantry area.
