• Image Acquisition: Performs 2D echocardiograms and Doppler imaging (Doppler imaging is used to assess blood flow within the heart). 

• Data Recording and Reporting: Documents findings, measurements, and prepares reports for review by cardiologists. 

• Initial Interpretation: May provide preliminary interpretations of echocardiograms, highlighting any abnormalities for the cardiologist. 

• Patient Education: Explains the procedure and results to patients in a clear and understandable manner. 

• Equipment Maintenance: Assists with the maintenance and calibration of echocardiography equipment. 

• Collaboration: Collaborates with cardiologists and other healthcare team members. 

• Safety and Hygiene: Follows safety protocols and infection control procedures.
