Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor vital signs, manage IVs, and provide wound care as needed.
Coordinate and manage patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatments in a timely manner.
Compliance:
Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards, hospital policies, and nursing procedures.
Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA (or other regional standards).
Professional Development:
Attend training and continuing education sessions to maintain licensure and stay current with healthcare trends and best practices.
Participate in performance evaluations and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing qualification.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state.
Skills:
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with medical software and patient record systems.
