Job Summary: The Service Engineer will visit sites to troubleshoot genset issue and resolve them. He will also take up Genset installation services, maintenance, site visits, genset services and every service related to Gensets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily service operations, scheduling, and resource allocation for service technicians.
Ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair services for diesel generators.
Provide technical guidance and support to service team members.
Develop and implement service policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
Manage service contracts and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams for timely dispatches of Gensets and spares to sites.
Conduct regular training and development sessions for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues efficiently.
Prepare and manage service budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in service field of gensets, preferably in diesel generators or power generation equipment.
Strong technical knowledge of diesel generator systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
