Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Commissioning:

   • Install and commission precision instruments at client sites.

   • Ensure proper calibration and operational readiness of the equipment.

2. Maintenance & Repair:

   • Perform regular maintenance and servicing of equipment as per scheduled guidelines.

   • Troubleshoot and repair defective instruments, ensuring minimal downtime.

   • Replace defective parts with approved components and materials.

3. Customer Support:

   • Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of the instruments.

   • Respond to service calls promptly and professionally.

   • Address customer complaints and issues with precision and efficiency.

4. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of all activities, including service history, repairs, and replacements.

   • Ensure proper documentation of service visits and report issues to the relevant departments.

5. Inventory Management:

   • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory for on-site repairs.

   • Assist in the procurement of tools, parts, and accessories required for service.

6. Compliance:

   • Follow all safety procedures and standards while servicing equipment.

   • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Graduate candidates: B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry), relevant technical degree.

   • Diploma candidates: ITI Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.

2. Experience:

   • Freshers to 5 years of experience in the field of service engineering, preferably in precision instruments or a related field.

   • Experience in customer-facing roles would be an advantage.

3. Technical Skills:

   • Strong understanding of precision instruments and their working principles.

   • Familiarity with calibration and troubleshooting techniques.

   • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

4. Soft Skills:

   • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in an understandable manner.

   • Customer-oriented with a professional and friendly approach.

   • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Other Skills:

   • Ability to manage multiple service requests simultaneously.

   • Attention to detail and precision in work.

   • Valid driver’s license (if travel to client sites is required).
