Job Purpose:

To carry out diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles (trucks & buses) to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on trucks and buses as per OEM guidelines.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension, clutch, steering, and axle repairs.

• Ensure timely completion of service jobs while maintaining high quality standards.

• Maintain accurate service records and job cards.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workshop environment.

• Support senior technicians and workshop managers in major repair tasks.

• Stay updated with the latest technical bulletins, service manuals, and OEM training.

Requirements:

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and repair of commercial vehicles (trucks & buses).

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmission systems, braking, and electrical systems.

• Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and workshop equipment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in workshop and field service environments.
