Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings and traffic
Conduct keyword research and analysis to optimize existing content and identify new opportunities
Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headings, image alt tags, internal linking, and URL structure
Execute off-page SEO strategies such as backlink building, guest blogging, and directory submissions
Monitor site performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
Content Optimization
Collaborate with content writers and the marketing team to create SEO-friendly content
Ensure all website and blog content aligns with SEO best practices
Technical SEO
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting crawlability and indexability
Work with developers to implement structured data, schema markup, and enhance site speed and mobile-friendliness
Performance Reporting
Track SEO metrics and KPIs such as traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rate, and conversions
Provide regular reports and actionable insights to enhance SEO strategy and execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field
1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience
Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword research tools, and ranking factors
Proficient in tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Ubersuggest
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms like WordPress
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
Awareness of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
