We are seeking an enthusiastic SEO Specialist with 1 year of proven professional experience to help grow Affordpill's organic search visibility. The primary goal is to drive qualified, high-intent traffic to our website and app for medicine orders and health-related searches. You will be responsible for executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Page SEO & Content Optimization
Conduct thorough keyword research specifically for the pharmacy/health/e-commerce industry (e.g., searches for specific medicines, health conditions, online ordering, etc.).
Optimize website content, product descriptions, meta titles, meta descriptions, and image tags to improve organic rankings.
Work closely with the content and development teams to ensure all new website pages and blog posts are SEO-friendly.
2. Technical SEO Basics
Conduct basic website audits to identify and fix technical issues such as broken links, crawl errors, and site speed optimization opportunities.
Manage and optimize the website's structure, including internal linking and URL architecture.
Ensure proper implementation of schema markup for product and review data.
3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Assist in developing and executing a strategic link-building plan to acquire high-quality, relevant backlinks from authoritative health and news websites.
Monitor backlink profiles and disavow harmful or spammy links to maintain domain authority.
4. Reporting & Analysis
Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs) to track, analyze, and report on website performance, keyword rankings, and organic traffic growth.
Provide weekly reports on key SEO metrics and recommend actionable strategies for improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience focused primarily on SEO.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Core Skills:
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Proficiency in conducting keyword research and competitive analysis.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as it relates to SEO.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
