The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to promote the company’s sweets, bakery products, and services. The role includes brand building, customer acquisition, corporate order generation, B2B and B2C campaigns, digital marketing, and on-ground promotional activities.
Develop annual and monthly marketing plans aligned with business goals.
Plan festive season campaigns (Diwali, Deepavali, New Year, Pongal, etc.) for corporate and retail customers.
Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
Ensure consistent brand image across all branches and promotional materials.
Design brochures, catalogs, posters, and corporate gifting flyers.
Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for positioning.
Build relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and event organizers.
Generate bulk/corporate orders and maintain client databases.
Negotiate pricing and contracts for B2B deals.
Oversee website updates, e-commerce promotions, and SEO/SEM activities.
Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn).
Plan influencer collaborations and online campaigns to drive engagement and sales.
Lead field visits for direct marketing, tie-ups, and partnerships.
Conduct sampling campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.
Support branch managers and sales staff with marketing materials and training.
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.
Track ROI of marketing activities and campaigns.
Provide insights to management for business growth.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Creative mindset with knowledge of branding and advertising.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Canva, CRM tools).
Analytical thinking with ability to track campaign performance.
Ability to lead a team and coordinate across departments.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
4–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, food & beverages, or retail industry.
Experience in both traditional and digital marketing channels.
Fluency in Tamil & English (Hindi is an added advantage).
