About us: Ganesan Interiors — a local showroom specializing in teak wood, WPC, PVC and bedroom doors. We sell to homeowners, builders, contractors and commercial projects and provide delivery + installation.
A hands-on Field Marketing Executive who represents the showroom on the ground, drives local lead generation, converts walk-ins, builds relationships with builders/contractors, and supports sales through demos, samples and localized promotional activities.
Visit target neighbourhoods, contractors, builders, architects and housing projects to promote showroom products and services.
Generate and qualify leads; pass hot leads to the sales team and follow up until the first site visit/quotation.
Manage and grow relationships with construction contractors, interior designers, real estate agents and bulk buyers.
Collect market intelligence: competitor prices, new products, customer feedback and material demand trends.
Capture leads and activity accurately in CRM or lead register; prepare weekly field reports and attendance sheets.
Assist delivery & installation teams when needed for handover, quality checks and customer orientation.
Represent the brand at local trade fairs, builder meets and housing exhibitions.
0–3 years field sales/marketing experience (preferred in building materials, doors, furniture, or hardware).
Comfortable with frequent travel and meeting customers on site.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Tamil and English.
Basic digital skills: WhatsApp, Google Maps, phone, Excel/Sheets and simple CRM use.
Negotiation skills, persistence, and customer service orientation.
Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
Existing network with builders, contractors or interior designers in Chennai/Perungalathur region.
Understanding of door materials (teak, WPC, PVC) and installation basics.
Number of qualified leads generated per week (e.g., 15–25).
Conversion rate from lead → showroom visit → quotation.
Number of new contractor/partner accounts onboarded per month.
Timely and accurate reporting (weekly field activity reports).
Customer satisfaction on handovers/visits.
Product samples, catalogs and visiting cards.
Phone reimbursement or field allowance.
Training on product specs, pricing and installation basics.
Base salary + performance incentives/commission on sales or converted leads.
