Job Description for Marketing – Electrical/Switchgear (0-15 Years of Experience)
Position: Executive / Officer/Engineer
Location: All Over India
Experience: Minimum 0 to 5 years, BE (Mechanical/Electrical) / MBA or Relevant Degree
Overview: The Marketing Manager role is a leadership position within the organization, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to position the company as a market leader. This role requires close collaboration with sales, product development, and channel partners to create and implement impactful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving both internal and external communications, content creation, and digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:
o Define and deliver the overall marketing strategy, including budget management, integrated campaigns, branding (internal and external), digital marketing, and performance metrics.
o Develop and implement messaging for new products alongside product management teams.
o Lead the development of the marketing budget and manage expenditure.
o Coordinate the company's presence at trade shows, events, and advertising campaigns.
2. Digital & Content Marketing:
o Oversee the digital presence across all web and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and audience engagement.
o Develop and execute digital marketing content for the website, blogs, and social media platforms, managing content calendars, creating campaigns, and ensuring regular updates.
o Manage the creation of marketing materials including product brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
3. Product Marketing & Launch Management:
o Collaborate with the product management team to execute product launches, developing go-to-market strategies and achieving product revenue goals.
o Develop and maintain product pricing lists and ensure they are updated regularly.
4. Branding & Communication:
o Manage the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and materials.
o Coordinate with channel partners to ensure they have access to updated marketing materials and messaging.
o Ensure all labelling and packaging designs meet regulatory standards and align with the brand.
5. Performance Analysis & Optimization:
o Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing tools and campaigns.
o Use performance data and analytics to drive continual improvements in marketing strategies.
o Ensure alignment with organizational goals by tracking and reporting marketing performance regularly.
6. Leadership & Collaboration:
o Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the marketing team, including personnel management and talent development.
o Collaborate closely with the sales leadership and product management teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
o Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all departments.
7. Additional Responsibilities:
o Support various ad hoc marketing initiatives and new tasks as required.
o Travel as required for trade shows, customer meetings, and market research activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• In-depth understanding of material testing applications and target markets, specifically in electrical or electronic products.
• Experience in consumables and capital equipment sales, ideally in the material testing or electrical industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Expertise in the customer buying cycle and decision-making process.
• Familiarity with global marketing and sales environments, especially in technology and innovation sectors.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud, Content Management Systems, and Marketing Automation platforms.
• Experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce Cloud.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Willingness to travel.
