About the Role:

We are a prominent merchant exporter seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Sourcing Executive to join our team. This role is a unique blend of marketing, relationship management, and sourcing, where you will be instrumental in securing our supply chain. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key suppliers—distilleries and sugar factories across India—to source a critical by-product. This is a field-oriented position that demands extensive travel and offers the opportunity to directly impact our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 • Relationship Management & Sourcing: Act as the primary point of contact for distilleries and sugar factories. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of by-products. This includes identifying new partners and nurturing existing ones.

 • Market Intelligence: Serve as our eyes and ears in the market. Conduct on-the-ground research to identify new sourcing opportunities, understand supplier capabilities, and stay informed about industry trends in the sugar and distillery sectors.

 • Negotiation & Contracts: Strategically negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers, ensuring both competitive advantage and a mutually beneficial partnership.

 • Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and professional communication with suppliers and provide regular updates to the internal team through email and WhatsApp.

 • Brand Ambassador: Represent our company with a professional and pleasant demeanor, building our reputation as a trusted partner within the industry.

Candidate Profile:

 • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or purchasing role. Experience in sales or marketing within the sugar, distillery, or broader food industry is highly advantageous.

 • Skills: Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) with a natural ability to build rapport, influence, and negotiate effectively.

 • Personal Attributes: A smart, energetic, and proactive individual with a pleasant personality who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

 • Travel: Must have a strong willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout India.

 • Location: While candidates from Maharashtra (Kolhapur, Sangli) and Uttar Pradesh (Kashipur, Balrampur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow) are ideal due to the location of key suppliers, we are open to applicants from any city in India.
