Perform MIG, TIG, Arc, or Gas welding based on job requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Measure and cut metal parts using hand tools, torches, or automated machinery.
Prepare materials and surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning components.
Repair broken or cracked parts and rework defective welds as needed.
Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE during all operations.
Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams for inspections and approvals.
High school diploma, ITI, or equivalent vocational training.
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Gas welding.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is an added advantage.
Physically fit and able to work in varying environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces).
Team player with a positive attitude.
Good time management and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work overtime or shifts, if required.
