Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Welder with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in welding Mild Steel (MS) and Stainless Steel (SS) components. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for quality, an understanding of automotive-grade fabrication, and the ability to consistently deliver clean, strong, and dimensionally accurate welds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on MS and SS components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions for accurate welding execution.

• Ensure weld quality, penetration, and aesthetics suitable for visible and structural applications in automotive products.

• Conduct weld inspections, basic quality checks, and self-audits before passing to QA.

• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and safety gear.

• Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and quality teams to troubleshoot welding defects or design adjustments.

• Maintain safety standards and follow workshop best practices at all times.

• Document work completed and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or automotive setup.

• Proven expertise in MS and SS welding, especially in thin gauge sheet metal and tubular structures.

• Skilled in TIG and MIG welding techniques.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintain dimensional accuracy.

• Familiarity with grinding, polishing, and post-weld surface finishing techniques.

• Basic knowledge of weld testing (visual inspection, leak test, etc.) is an advantage.

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
