Key Responsibilities • Set up and operate VMC machines as per job requirements. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments. • Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and quality of components. • Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.). • Make necessary adjustments to programs or machine settings to maintain tolerances. • Maintain daily production records and ensure timely completion of jobs. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine. • Follow safety protocols and maintain housekeeping in the work area.

Requirements • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field. • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a VMC Operator in manufacturing industry. • Hands-on experience with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers (as applicable). • Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting speeds, and feeds. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and G-code programming basics. • Good knowledge of measuring instruments and quality standards. • Willingness to work in shifts.
