We are looking for an experienced Die Maker with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling components. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, precision machining skills, and the ability to work independently in a tool-room environment.
Manufacture new tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform die fitting, assembly, adjustments, and final finishing.
Operate tool-room machines such as CNC, VMC, milling, grinding, lathe, EDM, wire cut, etc.
Inspect and measure components using precision tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge).
Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on existing dies to ensure smooth production.
Identify defects, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with production teams to support smooth machine operation and reduce downtime.
Maintain proper documentation of tool history, maintenance schedules, and modifications.
Ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and strict dimensional accuracy.
Diploma/ITI in Tool & Die Making or equivalent.
3–4 years of relevant experience in die manufacturing and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of progressive dies, press tools, injection molds, or sheet metal dies (customize as needed).
Ability to read and interpret engineering and CAD drawings.
Proficiency in tool-room machines and precision measurement instruments.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
