Core responsibilities
Inventory and stock management:
Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all store materials, including raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in physical registers and/or software systems.
Implement and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for consumables.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for orders and deliveries.
Operations and logistics:
Ensure efficient daily store operations, including housekeeping and organization.
Oversee the issuing of materials to production departments.
Coordinate with internal departments and external logistics providers.
Quality and compliance:
Perform quality control checks on incoming materials.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
Manage the safe storage and handling of all materials.
