We’re looking for a Quality Engineer with a strong mechanical background to support and improve our manufacturing and product quality processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality systems, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation such as control plans, inspection reports, work instructions, and SOPs.
Support root-cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement and monitor quality control methodologies such as 5S, 7 QC tools, Kaizen, and Pareto analysis.
Work closely with production, design, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain records of quality results and generate reports for internal audits or customer audits.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments.
Participate in product testing and validation activities.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and customer requirements.
Monitor defect trends and recommend preventive actions.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Knowledge of quality tools: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto, FMEA, Control Charts, etc.
Experience with measuring instruments: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM (optional).
Familiarity with quality systems and audits (ISO 9001 preferred).
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience with APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC.
Basic understanding of CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
Exposure to lean manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of supplier quality processes.
