Roles and Responsibilities:
• Inspection of incoming materials as per drawings and specifications
• Inspecting and testing of components to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Fair knowledge of CMM and ability to interpret CMM reports
• Strong understanding of geometric tolerances and machining processes
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, plain plug gauges, and thread gauges (NPT, metric)
• Developing corrective and preventive actions for quality issues and driving continuous improvements
• Knowledge of 8D methodology for problem-solving
• Basic understanding of PPAP and first article inspection documentation
• Preparing and following checklists for incoming inspection parts
• Maintaining records for rejections, rework, and conducting root cause analysis
• Monitoring and maintaining 5S practices within the department.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of inspection methods and quality systems
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and tools
