Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in Quality Control, Billing, Documentation, and Site Supervision. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality execution of mechanical works, accurate billing and documentation, and smooth coordination at the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for mechanical installations (piping, structure, equipment erection, etc.)

• Ensure work is carried out as per design drawings, specifications, and safety standards

• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers for site execution

✅

Quality Control (QC):

• Implement quality control checks and inspection procedures for materials and workmanship

• Conduct welding, NDT, and material testing as per project QA/QC plan

• Maintain and submit inspection reports, WPS/PQR/WQR documentation, etc.

• Liaise with third-party inspectors and client representatives

Billing & Measurement:

• Prepare and verify RA Bills, client bills, subcontractor bills

• Take site measurements and prepare Measurement Books (MB)

• Validate work progress and quantities before billing

• Track work completion for billing purposes

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

• Maintain proper documentation of QC records, test certificates, DPRs, logs, checklists, and material approvals

• Handle material reconciliation and project close-out documentation

• Support project handover and client submission packages

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, codes (ASME, IS, API), and QA/QC processes

• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (ERP knowledge is a plus)

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities at project sites independently

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience in oil & gas, power plant, pipeline, fabrication or heavy industrial projects

• Willingness to relocate or work at remote project sites

• Knowledge of safety standards and site HSE protocols
