The Engineer – Proposal and Product Management will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams, understanding customer requirements, and supporting product lifecycle activities. This role bridges the gap between sales, engineering, and product development to ensure competitive, accurate, and timely offerings to customers.
Study tender documents, customer specifications, and inquiries to prepare techno-commercial proposals.
Design suitable technical solutions based on customer requirements and application needs.
Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Production) to gather accurate inputs.
Prepare and maintain costing sheets, price calculations, and quotation documents.
Ensure timely submission of proposals and respond to customer clarifications.
Support product development and enhancements based on market trends and customer feedback.
Assist in product positioning, competitive benchmarking, and lifecycle management.
Maintain and update product catalogues, datasheets, and technical documentation.
Provide technical training to the sales team and support marketing activities.
Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and propose optimized solutions.
Support the sales team during technical discussions and pre-bid meetings.
Build strong relationships with key clients and partners to understand market needs.
