Lead and manage cross-functional teams for new die casting projects, from RFQ to mass production.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Tool Room, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain) to ensure successful project execution.
Manage tooling design and development, ensuring alignment with production and quality requirements.
Monitor and report project progress, highlighting risks, delays, or deviations and implementing corrective actions.
Act as the primary point of contact with customers for project updates, technical discussions, and approvals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Facilitate APQP, PPAP, and FMEA processes for new products.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management within the die casting or metal manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of aluminum/zinc die casting processes, tooling, CNC machining, and finishing operations.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Gantt charts).
Understanding of GD&T, CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.
Experience working with OEM or Tier-1 automotive customers.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or manufacturing-specific platforms).
Experience in handling international clients and export projects.
