Candidate Profile / Requirements
• Passion for purchasing, commercial mindset (margins, MOQs, budget discipline)
• 2–5+ years’ experience in purchasing/buying (FMCG/wholesale preferred)
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Excellent English communication (spoken & written) for UK market interactions
• Advanced IT skills, particularly Outlook and Excel (lookups, pivots)
• Long-term commitment and growth mindset
Key Responsibilities
• Build and release POs within budget, MOQs and forecasts (Inventory Planner)
• Cost/price updates; supplier comms; delivery chasing and OTIF follow-up
• Market monitoring: competitor pricing, promo tracking, seasonal demand signals
• Product admin in Shopify: new listings, costs, prices/margins, basic compliance fields
