Packing Supervisor

The Packing Supervisor will oversee day-to-day packing operations of medical devices (IV Cannulas, Infusion Sets, Urology products, etc.), ensuring correct packing, labelling, sealing, and documentation as per GMP and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise packing line activities: sealing, labelling, pouching, and boxing of products.

• Verify correct product batch numbers, expiry dates, barcodes, and labelling.

• Maintain packing records, checklists, and reports as per SOPs.

• Monitor manpower, assign tasks, and ensure productivity targets are achieved.

• Train packing staff on handling sterile devices and good packing practices.

• Coordinate with QC team for in-process checks and approvals.

• Report any deviations, damage, or non-conformities immediately.

• Ensure safety and efficient utilization of packing machines (sealing, printing, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of sterile packing procedures in medical devices/pharma.

• Strong leadership and team-handling skills.

• Eye for detail to avoid mix-ups or labelling errors.

• Record-keeping and basic computer skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Diploma holder (any stream).

• 2-5 years of experience in medical device/pharma/sterile packing.

• Experience in cleanroom environment preferred.
