Key Responsibilities:
• Order Management & Dispatch Coordination:
o Oversee the order fulfillment process from order placement to dispatch for D2C food products.
o Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and timely dispatch.
o Track and monitor delivery progress across multiple courier and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery.
• Logistics Coordination:
o Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring timely deliveries, cost optimization, and resolving any delivery-related issues.
o Coordinate with transportation vendors for pan-India product distribution and ensure compliance with food safety and packaging standards.
o Monitor stock levels, reorder materials as needed, and ensure the seamless flow of inventory through the supply chain.
• Customer Communication & Support:
o Act as a liaison between the logistics team and customer service teams to resolve any shipping or delivery issues.
o Provide updates to customers on delivery statuses and address concerns in a timely manner.
• Operational Optimization:
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
o Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor logistics performance, and suggest improvements where needed.
o Regularly review shipping costs and explore cost-effective logistics solutions for scaling operations.
• Inventory Management:
o Work closely with the inventory management team to track stock movement, identify potential stockouts, and ensure the availability of products for dispatch.
o Ensure the proper storage and handling of food products, adhering to industry standards for food safety.
• Vendor Management & Reporting:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure that all contracts are followed.
o Prepare and present reports on order fulfillment metrics, logistics performance, and any operational challenges.
• Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to food distribution, including food safety, labeling, and packaging regulations.
o Maintain accurate records of dispatch, returns, and any issues for compliance purposes.
