ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high
performance and professional development.
2. Schedule, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, emergency
repairs, and planned projects.
3. Perform regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure all systems are functioning properly and
identify potential issues before they arise.
4. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to increase equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and
improve overall operational efficiency.
5. Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other systems within the
facility.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining a safe and
productive work environment.
7. Manage maintenance work orders, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and proper inventory
management of parts and supplies.
8. Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, tracking costs related to equipment repairs, parts, and labor.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production or operations during
maintenance activities.
10. Lead the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring equipment longevity
and operational efficiency.
11. Evaluate and recommend the procurement of new tools, equipment, and technology to enhance maintenance
operations.
12. Conduct performance reviews for maintenance staff and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
13. Manage emergency repairs and unplanned maintenance requests, ensuring swift resolution and minimal
operational impact.
14. Ensure the maintenance team adheres to safety protocols and practices, fostering a safety-first culture.
15. Report regularly to senior management on maintenance performance, project status, and resource needs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
⮚ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
⮚ Proven experience (3+ years) as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Incharge, or in a similar leadership role
within a manufacturing, industries.
⮚ Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems used in the facility.
⮚ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
⮚ Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy tools, equipment, and materials as necessary.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
Ability to work in potentially challenging environments (e.g., outdoors, in confined spaces, or in noisy
conditions).
Work Environment:
Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as noise, dust, or temperature fluctuations.
Availability for emergency maintenance or on-call duties as needed.
