Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, dispatch, and supply chain.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

• Drive automation and lean manufacturing practices in modular production.

2. Production Planning & Control

• Prepare and execute monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.

• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery as per client/project timelines.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for seamless workflow.

3. Quality & Process Excellence

• Implement and monitor quality standards (ISO / Six Sigma / Kaizen).

• Ensure adherence to modular product specifications, finishes, and safety standards.

• Drive continuous improvement in processes, reduce rework/rejections.

4. People & Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and motivate a workforce including engineers, supervisors, and operators.

• Ensure safety culture and compliance with health & safety regulations.

• Build a performance-driven culture within the plant.

5. Cost & Efficiency Management

• Control manufacturing costs, wastage, and overheads.

• Improve productivity through process optimization and capacity utilization.

• Monitor KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, yield, etc.

6. Liaison & Reporting

• Coordinate with senior management for strategic planning and decision-making.

• Interface with vendors, contractors, and clients when required.

• Provide regular MIS reports on plant performance, production, and quality.
