We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to support our manufacturing operations for tents and tensile structures. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial machinery such as fabric welding machines, cutting machines, high-frequency (HF) welders, and other production equipment used in the fabrication of tensile membranes and tent components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor machines used in the production of tent and tensile structure components.

• Operate fabric welding machines (hot air, HF welding), cutting plotters, stitching machines, and related equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machines to ensure proper functioning.

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or production schedules to determine machine settings and materials needed.

• Ensure accurate cutting, welding, and fabrication according to specifications and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot issues during production and coordinate with maintenance or supervisors for resolution.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety and quality protocols.

• Record production data, machine output, and material usage accurately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or ITI / vocational training in mechanical, textile, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

• Experience with industrial machines such as fabric welding, CNC cutting, or stitching machines preferred.

• Good understanding of safety practices and mechanical processes.

• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work with PVC-coated fabrics, technical textiles, or similar materials.

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor maintenance skills.
