We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser / Large Format Printing Machine Operator to operate and maintain high-performance laser and wide-format printing machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing materials, managing print jobs, performing regular machine maintenance, and ensuring print quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser engraving and large-format printing machines (e.g., UV, solvent, eco-solvent, or latex printers).

• Set up printing files, materials, and machine parameters for each job.

• Monitor printing process to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and resolution.

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on printing equipment.

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure artwork is print-ready and accurately aligned.

• Handle various substrates such as vinyl, fabric, acrylic, foam board, and more.

• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and completeness.

• Maintain inventory of printing supplies and report low stock levels.

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Keep work area clean and organized.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred).

• Prior experience with laser machines and/or large-format printing equipment is required.

• Familiarity with RIP software (e.g., ONYX, Caldera) and design file formats (PDF, AI, CDR).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

• Ability to lift and move printing materials and products.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility to work shifts and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Photoshop is a plus

• Experience with engraving machines or CNC routers is a plus

• Ability to handle urgent and bulk orders efficiently

• Understanding of color management and calibration
