Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MNTR Milling Machine Operator to operate and maintain conventional milling machines. The candidate will be responsible for machining precision components as per drawings, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring timely production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate conventional milling (MNTR) machines to produce parts as per engineering drawings.

• Set up machine, workpiece, and cutting tools to required specifications.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.

• Carry out machining operations such as slotting, drilling, tapping, keyway cutting, face milling, and contouring.

• Perform in-process inspection using vernier callipers, micrometres, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.

• Ensure correct usage of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials.

• Maintain machine accuracy and conduct routine checks to ensure smooth operation.

• Follow proper safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.

• Report machine or process issues to the supervisor and assist in troubleshooting.

• Work closely with the production and quality team to meet targets.
