Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Chipper Operator to operate and maintain biomass chipping machines at our plant. The operator will be responsible for handling raw biomass materials, ensuring smooth operation of the chipper, maintaining quality output, and adhering to plant safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate biomass chipping machines to process raw materials (mustard husk, crop residue, wood waste, etc.) into required chip sizes.

• Monitor machine performance, detect operational issues, and perform basic troubleshooting.

• Ensure continuous feeding of raw material and smooth flow of output.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of raw material stockyard and working area.

• Conduct routine checks, lubrication, and minor maintenance of the chipper machine.

• Report mechanical faults or breakdowns to the maintenance team.

• Adhere strictly to plant safety and operational guidelines.

• Keep daily records of machine operation, production output, and downtime.

• Coordinate with the production team to achieve monthly biomass processing targets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 10th pass; ITI/diploma in mechanical/related field preferred.

• Prior experience in operating chippers, shredders, or similar machinery in biomass/wood/industrial plants preferred.

• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety protocols.

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

• Physically fit and able to work in plant/field conditions.

Work Conditions

• Location: Plant site at Khurshed Nagar, Kosli, Rewari, Haryana.

• Work environment includes outdoor yard and machine operation areas.

• Shift-based duty (Day/Night as per plant requirement).
