1. Machine Operation:
Set up and operate CNC / NC / hydraulic press brake machines.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, bend angles, and dimensions.
Select appropriate tooling (punches and dies) as per job requirements.
Perform trial runs and adjust parameters to achieve required bend accuracy.
2. Quality Assurance:
Inspect components using measuring tools such as vernier calipers, protractors, and height gauges.
Ensure bends, angles, and dimensions meet the specified tolerances.
Identify and report any defects or deviations immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain zero rejection through accuracy and careful handling.
3. Machine Maintenance & Safety:
Perform daily machine checks and ensure proper lubrication and cleanliness.
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE during machine operation.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Record daily production data (quantity, job number, machine hours).
Update bending process sheets or job cards as required.
Assist in maintaining traceability of parts through proper labeling.
5. Coordination & Teamwork:
Work closely with cutting, welding, and assembly teams to maintain smooth workflow.
Follow shift engineer’s instructions and production schedules.
Support other fabrication activities when required.
