Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Setting up new hydraulic and pneumatic equipment per specs.
Maintenance: Performing routine checks, lubrication, and preventive servicing.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults in systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, and lines.
Repair: Overhauling, rebuilding, and repairing components like valves, winches, and engines.
Testing: Verifying performance, pressure, and flow, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Fabrication: Assembling, building, and sometimes welding hydraulic/pneumatic lines.
Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
Safety: Adhering strictly to safety protocols, using PPE, and managing risks from fluids.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Mechanical aptitude, understanding of fluid power principles.
Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical charts.
Proficiency with tools for diagnostics, repair, and testing.
Knowledge of diesel/electric power units (depending on role).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
