Job Summary:
The Fabrication and Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling structural metal products, performing fitting and fabrication tasks based on technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring final products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

Fit and assemble structural frameworks and components using hand tools and welding equipment

Measure, cut, drill, and weld metal parts with precision

Perform layout work using measuring tools, templates, and fixtures

Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish of assemblies

Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition

Collaborate with the welding, machining, and engineering teams to complete projects

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:
ITI Fitter preferred First

Proven experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly

Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings

Skilled in welding, grinding, drilling, and related fabrication tools

Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage

Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

Physical stamina to work in a factory setting and handle heavy components
